How long does an MOT take?
An MOT usually takes about 45 minutes to an hour. However, if repairs are needed, it may take longer.
What happens if my car fails the MOT?
If your car fails, you’ll be given a list of problems to fix. Once these are repaired, you can have a re-test to get your MOT pass. SP300 technicians and facilities to fix most MOT failures.
Can I drive without a valid MOT?
No, it’s illegal to drive without a valid MOT, except when driving to a pre-booked MOT appointment or repair garage.
